Group Classes

The word “URSUS” means Bear in Latin, reflecting our raw approach to fitness.

Our functional fitness classes are challenging (but nothing you can’t handle), progressive and fun so you can get the most of your training and see results.

We offer a range of small group classes to cover all your training needs.

Group Class

Bear Camp

Functional Fitness at its finest.

Our signature functional fitness class, Bear Camp, runs 3 times a week on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

These classes combine dumbbells, assault bikes, ski ergs, and a range of equipment to get you both fit and strong. If you enjoy EMOMs, AMRAPs and HIIT in a fun group environment, then this is the class for you!

This class is scalable to all levels.

Strong
& Lean

Strong & Lean classes are designed to do exactly what it says on the tin.

Programmed and periodized resistance training that focuses on different body parts, 3 times a week.

Mon: Lower Body
Wed: Upper Body
Fri: Split

These classes are centered around the use of barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and bodyweight training, regularly focusing on compound movements such as squats, bench press, deadlift and overhead press.

This class is scalable to all levels.

Women’s only classes

Written by women, for women.

Women’s Only Strength and Conditioning classes at URSUS have a focus on strength training and functional fitness. These classes are fun, energising and inclusive.

This popular class runs 3 times a week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 8am.

This class is scalable to all levels and is suitable for beginners.

Hyrox Engine & Strength

URSUS is a HYROX Training Club. To get you ready for your next fitness race, we offer two HYROX classes.

HYROX ENGINE:
High intensity hybrid training. Classes every Tuesday and Sunday.

HYROX Strength:
Focused strength training for HYROX every Monday evening.

These fitness and strength classes are scalable to all levels and are suitable for beginners.

This class aims to develop your flexibility, range of motion and reduce your risk of injury.

This lower intensity class is also perfect for those looking to enhance their mobility for lifting in Strong & Lean. These 45 minute classes run once a week every Thursday at 6:15pm.

This class is scalable to all levels and is suitable for beginners.

Strengthen your core, improve your posture.

These 45 minute, lower intensity sessions are designed to strengthen your core, support your stability, and build muscle. Classes are every Thursday at 5:30pm and 6:15pm.

Join us every Saturday at 8:00am for the ultimate cardio class.

Using only the row, bike and ski machine, these classes are challenging and fun!

Get ready for maximum calorie burn and cardio conditioning.

This class is scalable and suitable for beginners.
